About this site

Korea Travel Note is a set of practical guides for people visiting Korea for the first time: how to get from the airport, which transport card to buy, how to get online, which map apps actually work, and where to stay.

What we cover

How the guides are made

  • Prices, timetables and rules are checked against official sources such as the Korea Tourism Organization, AREX, Seoul Metro and the operators themselves. Each guide lists its sources at the end.
  • Every guide shows the date it was last updated. When a price or rule changes, we update the guide.
  • We don't write fake reviews or pretend to have stayed somewhere we haven't.
